The new Korean high speed bullet train.
Oops! Guess I wasn't fast enough!
Anyway, you can see the tail lights and overhead electric sparks.

Nice shot! Very traditional. I remember watching at the South Rim of the Grand Canyn as the crew did a maintenance check as they were preparing for the return run to Williams. While it looked a lot like the guys were taking the traditional oil can around, they were actually taking temperature reading s with a remote reading digital thermometer! Still on unscanned film. :(

This is the MAGLEV (Magnetic Levitation) train from Pu Dong Airport to the centre of Shanghai. It got up to 431 km/h (about 270 mph). It's capable of more but the route isn't long enough to permit higher speeds.
