There have been quite a few questionable choices of the first place foto in previous competitions, but not this time. Judging is always in the eye of the beholder and different people value different aspects of photography. Obviously you like the story-telling aspect of an image and the winner is great in that regard....

Wow! I finally won a pbase competition and wouldn't you know it I happen to be on holiday and miss my chance to choose a topic!
