It is easy for me to follow the rules for this one: a combination of living in a beautiful spot and being too lazy to go further means that a lot of my shots are less than 5 minutes from home, much less 5 miles!

We got an impressive amount of freezing rain a couple of weeks ago, and it lasted long enough to get some good shots with the sun:

My first image is from my front yard. This patch of poppies is only about 4 feet square, but getting the right angle and cropping make it look big.



My second picture is from across the street at the rail road tracks.



My third picture is from my back yard. It is a winter shot of my fountain/fish tank.
