Deserving of a Vote

can someone explain where these votes are read? i have looked at many of the big vote-getters and voted a couple of times on those deserving and cannot seem to find the vote registry anywhere. this is such a huge and powerful site, every time i'm on it, i find something new...

The total votes an image has received is under it. This is the "all-days" section. If you are looking at the "seven days" section you won't see the vote total, just the most recent votes.

If you go all the way through the link I listed above (lots and lots of pages) you see that the ones near the end have just a few votes each. This is tragic in some cases, IMO, since so many really excellent photos have been lost back there out of sight, and folks don't even know they exist and thus aren't voting for them. I hope you and others will take the time to look through this section completely and boost some of those overlooked ones, such as those I listed here in an earlier post or any that you especially like.
