this gallery isn't of snow but its pretty close. all photos were taken thursday Jan 6 of this year after a nasty ice storm dumped snow to the north, rain to the south, and a layer of ice on our area. the swath of ice was only about 25 miles wide (the towns to the north and south got either rain or snow) but we were right along that band of ice. close to 90% of the city lost power during and shortly after the wednesday storm and a very large number of customers, including myself, were without power until the beginning of the following week. not fun but it made for some interesting pictures...
