Clic on Post Reply, then on the upper button "<b>img</b>"
Write or copy/paste your complete url
You must add <b>.jpg</b> at the end of the image number... if not, no way...
Then clic "<b>img</b>" again to close the code.
Clic "Submit" or you may clic "Preview" if you want to verify before sutmitting.

As an option, you may suffix your filename with /small /medium /large before adding .jpg at the end.

Obviously this makes the image load quicker, so you may wish to use this if you like.

You can also, as an option, repeat your filename (with the size option and jpg) without the img bits - that's how the links appear beneath the pictures sometimes. This won't show the photo, but will give a link to the photo in the relevant gallery.
