Sanna, a tiny settlement in the remote Ardnamurchan Peninsula in Western Scotland.

It was a dreary day. Cold, wet and gray. Our journey carried as further and further from civilization and into countryside long since vacated by most hardy souls. Among the tamarac and swamps and fields long since tilled rose the remnants of a once bustling farm. The buildings were left behind and stood proud against the ravages of time. Lonely trees rose mightily alongside of their old friends and watched as the elements slowly eroded their presence from the landscape.

I've never had too many Black and White photos. Not that I don't like them, but I felt they just didn't look right.
After seeing the influx of so many B&W images here recently, I feel that I can honestly say that Scott Wong has inspired me to take or at least display more B&W images.
I have created a new gallery to start me on my way called Snaps n Shots in Black n White
So here goes

It was a pleasure to have created a B/W sub-gallery located in my first principal Gallery Shared Space (http://www.pbase.com/paul55/shared_moments). More images will be posted there within the next few days. I have much to learn here in PBase but having fun so far.
