your job must be pretty boring if you have nothing better to do than to care about such things
It's called stirring the pot and, personally, I think it's pathetic. I'll bet he's already bugging the crap out of Slug, though I haven't heard anything from either Slug nor Emily regarding this image.
I created the image he refers to and I've shown many people, including my nephews' girlfriends. They appreciate it as the art that it is. Of course, they're not stuffed shirts like some Americans and Canadians (I am Canadian myself); one of my nephews' girlfriends is Asian (Cambodian actually) and the other's Polish.
If you have a problem with the image, look to the right of the top voted photo for the last 7 days, where you can be content seeing a dude peering at a billboard.. In other words, get over it and move on.
Afterall, if we are going to object to images based on his or her particular disdain for it, I have a problem with a few myself; most notably the "gay pride" type photos on pBase, but I'm certainly not going to raise a stink and try and get them restricted or otherwise limited.
Once we start down the path of censorship, where do we stop? Will pBase remain a free art domain to some, or will politically correctness spoil this site as it has Smugmug and all the other photo posting sites with arcane rules?
