I've never really been pleased with pictures I've taken from an airplane. These are a couple I was extremely pleased with from my trip back home from the holidays.

This is the sunrise we saw as we climbed out of the cloud cover over Columbus, Ohio.

I've always been lucky taking pictures from a plane. This one I took over twenty years ago made me feel like I was orbit.

This is Manchester Ship Canal, built in the 19th Century to allow ships to reach the centre of Manchester 35 miles inland. Seen here passing through the centre of Warrington on the way towards Liverpool and the sea (photographed from a PA28, 1200 ft up).
