130 years Holland America Line celebrated in Rotterdam Nethe

Rotterdam has a strong bond with the USA as many of the emigrants went there using the (then) Holland Amerika Lijn for transport to the USA and Canada.
On the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the (now US based) company two huge cruise ships moored at the Wilhelminakade, place where all the emigrants started their journey and thus their new life in America.
