A few new additions to this gallery:

Some of the images are from different forum art challenges.
Hope you have the time to take a peak in the entire gallery.
Thanks – Waynette

Ohh, I have peaked a few times at your galleries and you have some quality PA. I like both the Neimanish pic and I really like the second pic you embedded. Good to see your work as always Waynette.

Cheers

PS...Were both of those volunteered photos?

Yes both photos came from photo/art challenge forums. The images in the galleries should give the info of the photographer and the website for the challenge. I stick with volunteered images to work with OR use my own photography.

Yes – just checked everyone is getting credit for their photography.

Thanks for the note too.

Thanks....both of those look like cool photos to work with. Credit should be given to you. Afterall, it is your artwork that makes the image. If it were up to me, I would allow the artist to retain copyright of the pa and the photographer the rights to the original photo on photos donated for pa threads. Seems only fair to me. But hey, it's fun and educational either way.

Cheers

I agree but that's they way the "legal" notice was posted on each site. The images are so small (DPI) that I couldn't print anything very large if I wanted to.I would like a large print of the basketball player as a gift for my daughter.

Waynette,

My experience has been that when people ask politely and explain what they want to do, most folks are very accommodating. :D

Good idea. A young man/teenager sent a polite email to me several months ago wanting to use an image of mine. I was impressed with his email to ASK for use of the image, instead of steal the image... I agreed to let him use it. No big deal for me.

I have never asked because the image I work with from the forum is so low res that I can't do anything with the art image. Plus I usually can never repeat the same steps for some styles even if they did give me use of an image for Photo Art purposes. I have fun trying new styles and learning different techniques from the forum members.

Now I'm experiementing with custom brushes... fun stuff.

Both images are good… I like the basketball player most.
I like it when people ask to use one of my images, I always
say yes when they ask. I have had some just take them.

mE TOO....and...I think some photo-art forums are scams just to get honest members to fill the threads with content.

All of the images I have donated to pa forums for pa-art the folks are welcome to use permission free. That's why I donated them to the threads in the first place.

A few ways of thinking I guess.

Cheers
