Feedback for a newbee?

I don't even know if "dabble" is the right word, for what I've been doing over the past 5 years... It kinda started with a Sony Mavica.. and now.. well.. it's the Drebel.. (this year's hot adult toy).

Because of dismal weather.. today was only like the 3rd time I've gotten to really play with it, since Christmas.. and I'd like a little imput. They're only animal pictures from our local zoo.. but I can imagine I was on safari at least

All the pictuers have been resized from the original.. with an USM applied and two were lightened (as they were way too dark).. The last two were taken by my daughter (with her cybershot).. and they were her best so I added those because they made her proud.

Comments? Suggestions? I would appreciate any and all.
