This man is nearly 100 years old, what do you think of the pic?

I think it is a good portait. The profile of the man is an excellent choice for composition because it focuses directly onto his features and characteristics of a man close to living a full century.

But the appeal goes further by not just showing him still, as if he is lifeless, but rather contemplative with his hand stroking his stubbles on his chin. It suggests to me the wise and reflective meditations of someone his age and experience.

I am interested in understanding your choice of color? It does not detract from it, but I am just curious...

first of all , sorry for my english

I choosed the sepia color cause the house, and all the atmosphere were so old as the man.
And with this color I can feel the pass of the years in his melancolic expression. Takes everything into the same age (see the ear thing).
