Ahhhh, Geoff finally came through. :-)

Nice shots Darter, CJ, and Jill.

Okay pixa, is it a sunrise or a sunset? Of course, if it is far enough north or south I suppose it could be both.

Hmmm, too many CJs around here. :D

That last one is awesome CJ (as in CJMorgan). :)

Gorgeous sunsets! I'm glad this topic came up since like another member, I don't often like to get up to capture the sunRISE.

Chuck says "too many CJ's" :!: :!: There's NEVER too MANY CJ's, Chuck! The more the merrier. (Of course, I can tell that I've been a CJ longer than CJMorgan just by looking at his profile image  )

CJMorgan and Geoff -- those sunsets are especially stunning! I'd gladly "stay up" for those. Good job of capturing those glorious colors. CJ, those cloud formations are spectacular all by themselves.

Yikes. Sunsets I have a lot of. I even have a whole gallery dedicated to those found in Hong Kong (http://www.pbase.com/framewerkz/hksunset).

But I guess this is a current favorite.

Taken while in Egypt this time last year, on the Nile cruising north. Was shooting like crazy to the amusement of German tourists looking over my shoulder thinking I was burning film, but little did they realize I'm shooting with a DSLR. Caught things just as we passed under a cable-stayed bridge, so I managed to get some texture in the shot.
