Well here are my entries. I tried to pick photos which really emphasize the macro/DOF criteria. Please click on the links above the photos to see the large size. To further emphasize the effect, look at the "original" size also. Thanks!

Here is a great use of DOF. The head of this small boa constrictor is in focus with the rest of his body blurred.

In this shot you can see that DOF was used creatively. The closest tulip is in perfect focus with water droplets accenting it and with the wide open aperture, the other tulips are blurred (bokeh).

This is one of my favorite shots. This is a gorgeous "Lady Slipper Orchid." Again by using f/2.8 a beautiful bokeh is achieved.
