Pretty much.... :?

Sex sells...as they say.

Too bad I don't photograph T&A as a general rule.

Well Ralph, you do whatever you think best. However, I like the ones you already have, especially the nature and landscapes gallery. The photos of the farm equipment in the snow really impressed me. I voted for your gallery just so you won't have to go out shooting nekkid women.

If that's what you want to do. But being listed in the top for T&A shots is not something I'd do. YMMW - your mileage may vary.

We all like recognition, but it boils down to why you take pictures...

I take them for me first, for clients second, for recognition third. :)

I doubt that even the T/A photogs are doing it to get votes here at PBase.

There's something going on...., but I doubt that Harrison Ford or Julio Iglesias would pose for me, or that I could stop blushing long enough to press the shutter release...

Ummmm OK, I'm going to be a bit stupid here.........what does T/A stand for? Is it travel / adventure?!

Thanks for your help.

Hi Ralph,

Like Dan, I found your "Nature & Landscapes" to be simply awesome. I would be a liar if I were to say that one day I wouldn't want to have a T&A session. But I don't feel it is necessary for a great porfolio. Most people (that matter) can appreciate a great portfolio with or without them.

Thanks everybody for the replies and the nice comments. No, I really wasn't being serious about me shooting T&A. I was just lamenting the fact that with so much wonderful photography and talent that is on pbase that it seems the T&A style is what gets the most votes. Nothing at all wrong with that as we all have our likes and dislikes even in photographic subjects and I tend to cast my pbase votes for the non T&A stuff.

Just to add my bit
It doesn't have to be T&A but from my experience people pictures attract a lot of views oh and it does help if they are young and beautiful and wearing a swim suit :D

I have abstract and flowers that in the last few months have attract less attention then my people galleries do in a day and I have no nudes

But as sue said it is all to do with what you like doing if you don't like it the picture will never come out as good as if you have passion for what you do
