2 pictures from a n00bie

Hi there,

Yesterday i took some nature pictures while trying my camera (fuji s3000). To my my suprise there was one nice picture between all the rubbish. I upload two shots from the same site, the aperture size was different. Why does picture 1 looks darker than picture 2?

Why does picture 1 looks darker than picture 2?

The shutter speed on the darker one is four times that of the lighter one. Thus, a two stop difference in the exposure. The white balance and exposure program were set differently for these two shots. Look at the EXIF information on these two shots.

The darker one looks better... The grey (white) sky always brings some difficulties for the exposure...
