I feel a great urge to shoot roads(especially those long abandoned ones), as one can gaze for hours and enjoy its profundity. Here is my share albeit aren't of high clarity shot from my olympus film camera.

Road through Valley of the Gods State Park near Mexican Hat, Utah. Heavy rain the day before had washed out the road in many sections and it was still in the process of being regraded.
