There were so many wonderful entries, and it was very difficult deciding on the winners.
First, there are a few honorable mentions that are definitely worth mentioning.
I loved Peter's photograph because of the expression on this boy's face. I love the sparkle in his eye, and I also like that the scab on his face was completely left alone. I also can't help but wonder what he is putting in his mouth.

Marcel captured a future rebel in this photo, and it really made me smile.

I really felt the loneliness in Chasp's capture of this young boy.

Now for the final three.
THIRD PLACE:
Ralph's photo was wonderful. I loved how the two of them are simply engrossed in nothing but each other.

SECOND PLACE:
What "got" me about Tim's photo was the way in which the child was cropped as well as the manner in which the hair seemed to blend into the background. I thought this photo was different, and I really liked it.

FIRST PLACE
I could not stop looking at this photo. I thought that it was technically excellent, and that the capture was just superb. This shot was obviously a "stolen" moment...one that froze so many childhood milestones in the blink of a shutter.
