Greetings and Introduction

Post Wed Feb 25, 2004 9:07 pm

Hello - I'm brand new to PBase but I have enjoyed looking at all of your photos. I have posted a few photos at (and I hope I am doing this right):

http://www.pbase.com/importer

I am very new to these type of sites and forums. I hope you will all tolerate me and I certainly would appreciate any comments, tips, or other suggestions in keeping wiht this site.

Thank you,
Jay

Hi Jay and welcome to PBase. May I suggest you post much smaller images, say not more than 640 at the largest and not more than 200 kb as there are a lot of folk (such as me) who are on dial up and it takes ages to see your photographs. Also, if you post lower res images, it precludes someone stealing your images. Nice pics of your dog, though!

Cheers
Sheila

Hello Sheila - Thank you for your suggestion. I just realized how large these images were.

Hello Fernando - Thank you for the welcome. The photos I have posted are not nearly to your standards but I will try. Thank you for the welcome.

Jay, very good work. I hope we will be seeing more of it. My favorites were the dog pictures.

By-the-way, I didn't have any problem with the size of your pix.

Thank you Pierce - You must have same great photo ops with the Special Olympics? I did some minor local volunteering with them years ago as a high school requisite. Funny, I didn't think much of it at the time but I still remember the experience greatly. Who'd a thunk it? LOL
