I want to thank and congratulate all who posted their fine images in this contest category. Every single image had a unique quality in portraying the theme of Cultures of the World.

The decision was extremely difficult, and basically comes down to purely personal taste in selecting a few from so many outstanding shots.

This was an interesting topic. Thanks for selecting mine for honorable and third but I agree that Viscot's monochromes are the winners here! Very powerful yet sympathetic images.

Well my working day has started with a gigantic smile on my face......

I will think about a new subject today and hopefully find out how I can host next competition ( I have no idea on how this works so hope for some feedback on this)
