Winners of the 60th. Show and Tell Contest: Vanishing Point

Can I just take a moment to, firstly, say that this has taken a lot longer than I had anticipated. Secondly, although I make no apology that there are winners and non winners in this contest, as that is the very nature of a competition, I do apologise to anyone who is disappointed to have been left out of my final selection. I started out with a 'shortlist' of 43 photographs, all of which I thought were worthy and had merit. As I whittled them down to my winners I used many criteria, some of which were I admit, rather personal, but most of which were an attempt to judge photographs that:
1. Related to the theme
2. Had technical merit
3. Showed that the photog. had seen something special, and had captured it with a camera.
4. Had a pictorial quality about them.
All of these photographs are worth a closer look, and the galleries of which they are a part deserve some of your time.
