Show and Tell

I saw this lady in the Surajkund Mela in the outskirts of Delhi. As we walked through the fair, I noticed her sitting alone. I wondered about her, noticed she only had one slipper on, but not knowing the language I couldn't approach her. I left not knowing her story.

Delhi is a great city, a perfect blend of the past and the future. Within the city is Delhi Haat, a shopper's paradise. Among all the craft shops are also daily performances by various artists. They come from everyhere and each has a story to tell.

This photo was taken in Pragpur, Himachal Pradesh in India. It is India's first historic village and a great place to unwind. This gallery is special to me, as it has brought so many with ancestors from that village leaving comments and writing to me about their stories of their childhood. It is heart warming.
