First of all, I would like to thank you all, for your contribution to that 67th contest with a large number of participants.
The choice of the topic “tell a storyâ€

Firstly, you have to know that my decision, which is only my own, hasn't been easy. Before I won, I didn't really imagine the responsabilty to choose ONLY ONE winner... Several pictures may win this contest, but the rule is clear. I'll be with the others With All My Heart.
I thank again, the participants (95 posts) for their effort, trying their best. All along viewing the photos, I've been pleasently surprised by the fact that many pictures were recently commented about their ability to "tell a story", that shows that people were interested in the topic.

This was a fun subject. My family and I would look at the photographs and each of would share their version of the stories. Definately opened up some interesting dialog.

That was one terrific contest idea,so also thanks to Alain.

It's really interesting for me to see these as described from the perspective
of a photographer who is judging the weeks' contest - his reasons, what the
photos make him feel or wonder, etc., when the week's judge takes so much
trouble to think about it and let us know. Makes me notice things I wouldn't
have otherwise. And that's an important element of all of this...
