The day-to-day grind doesn't allow me that luxury and most of my photo ops come close to home...usually while I'm walking the dog on the 50 acres of upstate N.Y. former farmland where I live. Since I travel these fields and streams so frequently, I've become intimately aware of the subtle changes that occur here.
This spring has featured a couple of snowmelt/rain flooding events followed by intense cold. The thin sheets of ice that form in the meadow as the water recedes can display some interesting forms.
No matter how small your world may seem, there is beauty to be found and photographed.
Please feel free to add any interesting ice shots to this thread.
Keep your lens clean and your mind open.
