From Ptkitty aka Ann Chaikin
Men are able to be softer and less macho.

Georgia Pacific Site being torn down. Reuse of plant space for city growth. No more Georgia Pacific in Bellingham, WA.

Change coming to the United States
My favorite photograph is the one I'm taking now.

I have crossed this bridge all of my life. In 2002 they build a new bridge and then tore down the old. This shot shows the beginning of construction on the south end next to the old bridge.
What attracted me was the graceful intersection of the curves and their interaction with the grid formed by the scaffolding.

It took 1,680 million years for a few streams and rivers to change this sea bed into a Grand Canyon.

1) Birth....is there any greater change? Present and future lives change on so many different levels for so many different people, places, and things with the birth of human life. We know how OUR lives have changed as a result, but what is uncertain is how this young life will come to change all around him.

2) World PHUCKIN Champions...2008 was the year of the Philadelphia Phillies. No other major sports market is more passionate about their sports than Philadelphia. Unfortunately, they have been cursed by bad teams and good teams that could not win for the past 25 years. Thats right, for the past 25 years, Philadelphia teams won ZERO championships out of 99 possible seasons (4 major sports teams X 25 seasons)...until this year. Change...Philadelphia is a WINNER this year...

3) I WANT TO BE...A REAL FATHER...some changes are in our hands at all times. WE have the power to break the cycle...even if we unexpectedly become a 17 year old father...even if our own father was never around. WE can make the change...
