In years past, when we saw someone on the street talking to themselves we knew we'd met the village idiot, a rare species then. Thanks to Bluetooth and the likes that species nowadays has multiplied enormously. In centuries past people met to talk to each other. In the century of tele(un)communication we only meet with the people we don't want to talk to.
