The day has finally come....................................

I am the proud owner of a new 10D. I have been shooting with my trusty Minolta Dimage 7Hi for about a year now and wanted to get a DSLR. I have a couple of very cheap lenses from my Canon EOS 300 days and I'm impressed with images on PBase taken with the 10D so it was a logical next step. I've got a Sigma 70-300mm which works intermittantly but will need re-chipping.

The moment I held my new 10D in my hands I could feel the quality. Especially after my Minolta. What a great camera. I've had the 10D for 4 days and I love it.

We all know that the camera doesn't make the photos, but good equipment in the hands of a good photographer can improve the results.

The baby closeup looks SO smooth -- and the fur detail on the other images is great. You're gonna have fun with your new tool!
