At a whopping 4700 years old, these knarly and fabulous bristlecone pines are the oldest living beings on earth.
Found only in a few places, these two are part of two groves in the white mountains, near Big Pine, California.

Bus of many colors... this is what I call aging beautifully. I came to a screeching, squeeling stop, when I spotted
this beauty alongside the road. Blessings to whoever realized it was a piece of art, not something for the junk yard.
