Honorable Mentions:
Feels like sitting at the edge of a pond in Monet's garden.


Whispy clouds and susnet makes me wish summer would finally get here.


Fun and playful pink pops into the frame for attention.


Third Place:
The poppies do seem to go on forever and the complimentary colors red and green playing back and forth.


Second Place:
Stunning and thought provoking capture. The blurred movement of what looks like wings of an elegant bird are like gentle slow moving brush strokes. The light brown and grey elements in the background add strokes of energy and contrast nicely.



First Place & Winner:
This image just screamed out to be selected as the winner. I think the colors are absolutely fantastic, greens being balanced between red-orange and red-violote. The reflection and texture of the water gives this image a feeling of a water color painting on fine canvas.
