First Light

Thanks again to David, for giving me the honor of running the 162nd Show and Tell Competition. This contest is dedicated to those photographers among you who are willing to roust yourself out of bed in the wee hours of the morning. and capture the magic that only happens at first light. Show me who you are, you brave souls, who are up and out so early to your location and set up in the dark, even in the coldest weather, to catch the fabulous first light colors and mood. I sure don't manage it often enough, but when I do, I'm almost always rewarded for the effort. Nothing quite equals the show Mother Nature puts on at dawn, while most people are sleeping. I'm looking forward to seeing your first light and sunrise shots.
Here's a few of the times I managed to get up really early...
