After looking through the rather substantial history of the Show and Tell Challenges, I think I am safe in making sure this topic has not been picked before.
Most people use telephoto lenses to obtain clear images of objects far away. But telephoto lenses can also be used to create a unique perspective by bringing the foreground and the background together. Sometimes this is done to exaggerate the size of an object, and other times to show the juxtaposition of two separate objects. And sometimes it is done to create a view no one ever thought of before. That is this weeks mission. I am not looking for images where the intention was bring something far away closer. I am looking for images where the photographer was able to create a different sense or mood that could not be perceived through either normal lenses or by just using your eyes. Below are two examples;
I know that this will be a difficult topic to judge, as I expect some outstanding images to be entered. But I am up for the challenge. For any "newbies", links to the contest rules, as well as the end time and date of the contest are listed below.
Good luck to all.
