(all in the wild, no zoo shots)

Black-crowned Night Heron

Stalking Coyote. Taken in East Bay Regional Park, while riding my horse...was mounted on my horse while taking the series of 3 shots of this coyote. Kinda like the one he looks straight at me, but this hunting shot I thought fit the contest title better.

This guy showed up at a client's home raiding the squirrels peanuts! One of a flock of peafowl living in Alamo & Danville.

I don't have much that merits a potential "wow", so I went for "ick" - - - this is, after all, the wildlife in my back yard... and sometimes in the house...


The NW version of "the club", marketable under the brand name "The Slug"....



This one, however, was more of a wow for me - at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History
