First of all: thanks for all your imaginative entries. I enjoyed them all.

Honourable mentions:

The series "Shining through" by Stefan Olafsson. All three very well done. Here is one of them:

So well know and such an original way to show them:
The Sphinx from behind by Chris Lock:

NYC reflection by Terry Bowker:

Statue of Liberty from behind by Chasp:

With this one I had such a good laugh. I love it:
Two monkeys by Juan Leon:

The next three: a bit spooky, very creative, good thinking and well executed:
Exit? by Markus Grompe

Ashes to Ashes by Suzanne Mathia

The other side of a window by Kirsten

Two ladies, one inside a car seen from the outside, the other outside a car seen from the inside. Both very charateristic. Both impressive:
Ho Ho (Ho) by Brad Claypool

Lady in Kolkata by Lawrence Ang

In third place:
Well seen juxtaposition of the boy and (the portrait in) the newspaper. Fen by J. Rayner.

In second place:
The other side in more than one way. Auschwitz by Chris Lock:

And the winner:
An image that sticks. The eyes penetrating.
The haunting by Jojie Alcantara

Have fun in the 213rd show & tell.
Maaike

Great selection Maaike, and thanks for including one of mine among them.

Very creative contest theme, is funny the different way of view about the topic.

And congrats Jojie, a really scaring image!

Maaike, thanks so much for the top prize, it's truly an honor to be among your selections which are also my choices. My winning haunting photo should be credited to the parents who gamely allowed their child to shoot with me, and the makeup artist who transformed her from the cute girl to the nightmare of dreams. If I may add as interesting note, we didn't show her what she looked like during the shoot, for fear that she will spook herself. :D

Excited to announce my next show and tell theme!

Jojie
