There is a story behind this image. This was taken after what we called The Great Massachusetts Ice Storm of 2008. We had lost power for over a week, and we were bitter cold. We had JUST had our power turned back on the DAY before - notice the lights on the tree in the background - and my daughters were dancing. I had bought them the ballerina dresses during the outage to try and cheer them up, and they loved how the dresses fanned out as they turned around. This is 2 year old Dillan:




People always edit the pictures in their holiday cards. Here is my "real" card from a couple of years ago. My daughters were in the mood. My son was not. Of course, I "changed" his head on the final version. ETA: If you go to the gallery, you can see the final card. Heh. I swapped out my younger daughter's head, too.
