292nd Show & Tell Competition: Solitude - WINNER

I thought this topic might be easier to judge - NOT SO ! As always a real struggle and after bringing down all the ones I liked to 21 - I still had to eliminate images that I really liked.
One comment I would like to make is that I hope pbase sorts out the problem of some images not coming up - it is so easy to miss them and when scanning through all the entries 100 times, again they get missed.
The entries I have chosen are ones that made a big impact on me and the ones that I filtered out were ones that I found something to criticize. Something I really enjoy with these competitions is analyzing what one likes or dislikes and it becomes a huge learning curve. Said enough !!!
Honourable mentions:
Danzap - A thought provoking shot - reminds me of people passing by someone hurt on the road. A great capture.
chungsp - a beautifully composed shot with the figure looking lonely and alone.
sandiwhi - this shot gives me the feeling of me being the lonely, solitary one. Magical view of this quiet beautiful coast line.
bclaypole - I like the composition and mood of this shot - the serious young man with his ball in a beautiful setting.
3rd place: atucker. I've woken up at night thinking of this shot ! Alone in a crowd ! And, the crowd looks quite strange - an unusual and stirring image.
2nd place: heffa. I love the full size version of this shot - it really has a "space" aspect - alone with the world !!
1st place jcdefreitas' Wasaga Beach So lovely in its simplicity and meets the theme beautifully
Congratulations John
