I picked this theme, because surprisingly, it had never been picked before. I expected some great entries and I was not wrong having seen so many outstanding bird in flight images here on PBase over the years. So the choice was very tough. Here is goes. First the three HM's in no particular order.

Third Place - Marcel - Superb timing to get this right at this moment with all this sharp detail, and then another Osprey also in focus.



Second Place - The Ellisons - An amazing busy scene with the birds all in all these different poses and the afternoon light coloring them.



First Place - Juan - The lighting and placement in the frame are really good, but what I really like is the precise focus on the head withe the catch light in the eyes and the sense of motion with this shutter speed. It's up to you now Juan.
