Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful entries - I enjoyed them all. Some of the entries were excellent, but I felt weren't "obviously" crafted from wood. The choices I have made are based on the wood being the primary subject of the photo, or being the main contributor to it. SO, here we go:

Allen_hart I like the composition of this shot and the focus being on the fence post - a very pleasant rural feeling !


amoxtli. A marvelous story telling atmosphere here - love all that wood.


grompem. I like all three but the mermaid fin won out in the end - such a lovely display of nature's work.


kade. Neat how this shot is presented - and wow ! all that whisky


peterschmidtab. Love the wintery mood here, not to mention all that glorious old wood. The lone person is a nice plus.


sylvester. I'm a sucker for wooden banisters - nice light and composition.

3rd Place

mdejong. Love all three shots, but have chosen this one with the wooden shack having more impact - as wood !

emmelaphoto. Beautifully portrayed - I love the handcrafting of this obviously much loved piece of furniture.

Congratulations to the winners! Thank you Gill for the HM. "Crafted from Wood" was a good theme that attracted a good number of entries.
