Very nice composition and graphic quality due to the orange floats. Great photo, but the central theme of this image are the orange floats, not the snow itself.


Nice pastel colors and interesting caption. Was this really in Florida?


Beautiful black & white with a graphic design feel. You could make a fabric pattern out of this.

3rd Place:

Makes you cold to just look at it. Snow is prominent, but the rock and the skier add some variety to the image.


2nd Place:

This photo really features the fluffy stuff in a big way and is interesting because of framing and the curved road.

1st Place:

A classic composition with an elegant arc of pure snow.

Thanks for honoring the silly pastel scooters. Not anywhere near Miami, but on First Hill, Seattle, during the 2012 snowstorm. Never saw them before or since. JM/Sylvester
