417th Show & Tell Competition: Aircraft - WINNER

I was a bit hesitant about posting this subject, but this was dispelled when I saw the many many great submissions. I liked the diversity of the images. Not surprisingly it was difficult to choose the winners and HM's.

First the Honorable Mentions.



I first saw and commented on this image almost ten years ago. An amazing shot.



Having shot the Blue Angels myself several times, I was immediately attracted to this shot. Not easy to photograph them and a very cool shot at this focal length.



The perspective, tones and clouds are so good here. The sharp detail of the rocket against the background is really good. A dramatic image.





Third Place - Yaron: Great framing, perspective and detail makes this such a good action shot.



Second Place - Steve: The drama and excitement is intensified by the motion blur, flames and differently colored smoke.



First Place - Pawel: A mind boggling shot. So well framed and timed. A great optical illusion. Congrats, it over to you now!
