Hi Everybody,
sorry for the late posting, but I've been too busy and I couldn't sit down to post the winner...

I have to thank you all as so many good pictures were posted and it has been really difficult choose one as the winner!

Starting with Honorable Mentions:

Very nice progression here, very simmetrical. Maybe a strongest B&W conversion could improve and dramatize the picture...

This is a subject I would have shot me too... :)

Love the way in which the pattern fades in the fog. I would have cropped it closer to the subject for giving it more strength (personal choice of course!)

Excellent shot in low light. Pattern is wonderful.

3rd Place:

Very nice picture. Well framed and composed. The repetition of red stripes is wonderful!

2nd Place:

Hypnotic!

1st Place:

What a place and what a shot!
Repetitions and patterns everywhere... Really a very nice pic.

Now is up to Pawel!

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a even better New Year!

E.

Thank you very much for the first place in such a high-level competition. This was an excellent choice of topic, flanked by illustrative examples, and drawing very good submissions. Congrats to everyone !
