Sorry for the delay in posting the winner of the 449th Show & Tell Competition. I managed to slice myself badly with a bread knife instead of slicing the bread. Don't watch English Premier League highlights while slicing bread!

I knew when I posted the competition that there would be a lot of great submissions and a lot of variety. So here are my picks. First the HM's in on particular order.

Third Place: Gill, Really like the exposure. The reflections and silhouettes take it up another level or two.



Second Place: John, Really like the composition, tones and lighting. So cool with the giant Ferris Wheel in the background.




First Place: Sam, I saw a lot of images of the recent eclipse, but I like this one best. Great job, and over to you!

Thanks very much for the selection, Walter. And congrats to the HM's and other winners. There was some stiff competition with all the entries. Sorry to hear about the bread knife incident and hope you are on the mend. Premier League, huh? I would have figured Bundesliga.
I will try to come up with something original for the theme for the next competition --- this is becoming a more difficult task considering the total number of competitions to date.

Great contest idea, pushing our abilities, and great choice for winners. Thanks for the HM.
