I was a bit disappointed in the thin participation... Didn't think that it was such a difficult topic...

Very cool and unusual scene, captured by a world traveler....

First place:

This image captured my attention right away. Terrific composition and very skillful use of DoP, with the first group of candles sharp, the second row a little less so and then blurriness in the last row. The colors are also fantastic, especially the pastel reds and yellows in the front.
