Great images! Many interpretations. Really difficult to choose. The winners:

Honorable Mention:

Arnie: Love how the delicate shadows showcase/frame the woman and the picture.

Jola: Queens of Persepolis: hints at a mysterious story. The shadow is essential to the composition.

David: Fremantle Prison - Chapel: Beautiful.

Marcel: el gato: A playful image.

Gill: Flood reflections: love the smooth textures.

Third Place: Paul
Sigiriya, almost: love the composition and its integration of the shadow:

Second Place: Flo
Shadow Play: A delightful trompe l'oeil! The interplay between object and shadow nails it.

First Place: Walter
Getty Center: Love the symmetries and delicate shadows. Beautiful!
