Ode to the 2004 Olympics

OK, I'm usually not one to toot my own horn, but I gotta give myself props for this photo. It's also very "timely". I present to you, my Ode to the 2004 Olympic Games:

It is a great picture. I think we all should do the same Ode but to a different sport.

I don't think the world is ready to see me performing an ode to any sport...

LOL! The only sport that I was even remotely good at was rowing. That reminds me, I have a bunch of rowing photos from college (20+ years ago). Maybe I should dig them out and get scanning!

Which college did you row for???
I have a few scanned rowing photos from my old college days too (25-28 years ago), I have them in a hidden gallery with a bunch of old school photos. They are only of interest to my old classmates (a few of whom have the link). I had many more but several of them got damaged beyond repair and I was trying to rebuild my collection of photos from the old days by exchanging with old college mates back in the UK. I did get a few replacements by e-mail.

I was at Oxford University (1979-1982) and I rowed for Wadham college.

I went to Catz (4 year biochem course) 1976-1980 so we overlapped.... you never know I may have rowed against you one year in Torpids or Eights Week!

Small world -- we almost certainly competed against each other! Check the photo in my profile and see if you recognise me!!
