Welcome to Emilio’s photo gallery.

To say he is an adventurer is an understatement, but this native of Argentina is also an astute observer, explorer, innovator, photographer, a fine writer, a wonderful storyteller and a gentleman.
The author of hundreds of articles for many magazines - including Honda Red Rider, the official magazine of American Honda’s premier membership organization, the Honda Rider’s of America, which caries a membership approaching 600,000 households - Emilio has been an elite contributor and a foreign correspondent to Motorpress-Iberica since 1986. This publishing group has an outstanding presence in 16 European countries, America and Asia, with more than 40 publications and over 2,000 professionals. The number of magazines sold each year exceeds 50 million.

In 1997, Emilio Scotto was honored by the Guinness Book of World Records as the person who made the Longest Journey on a Motorcycle. This record held in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and continues in the 2005 edition, under the title "King of the Road." According to the Guinness Book, it's unlikely anyone will ever surpass this feat.

Emilio Scotto’s odyssey of discovery has spanned more than a decade and led him across boundaries of geography, nationality, and culture. He has visited the sites of ancient civilizations, joined in religious celebrations rarely open to outsiders, and experienced private moments both joyous and heartbreaking with families and communities in more than 230 countries in North, Central and South America, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, Middle East, the Persian Gulf, Asia, Oceania, and even the North Pole.

During his journey, Emilio made nearly 90,000 wonderful photographic images that today are part of his personal bank of photos. The quality of these images rival those printed in National Geographic magazine. A few have been included in this proposal as examples of his artistry.
