I used a silver pot my mom had given me when I moved out 4 years ago lol (i've never cooked in it suprisingly) filled it with water to the brim and set CDs of varying colors in the bottom.
this pot was then set on top of another pot (just for height) and of this was set on top of my toilet (lid closed) in my bathroom.
camera was a tripod and I had a remote shutter control attached.
I would get a handfull of water from the sink, hold the shutter control and slowly start dropping while continously pressing the shutter release --- ~ 20 shots in a row usually.
Then I'd repeat
I took aroudn 150 shots while playing around.
hopefully I covered everything, no special lights (just the bathroom light) and a ghetto rigged setup
