Greetings from a new member!

Hello all,
My name is Ron and I live in Pittsburgh, PA. I found this site through a yahoo group dedicated to the Canon EOS 10D camera. For a few years now I have been snapping away with one cheap digital camera or another but this past summer I finally decided to go to digital SLR and have loved it ever since. As a professional artist and an amateur photographer, there is nothing better than having your work seen and commented on. Finding this site was one of the best things I have done so far. I find myself browsing through various galleries as I sit in my living room relaxing. The quality of many of them is stunning. I can only hope to someday do as well as many here.

I especially enjoyed your Maui Gallery. I too bought my 10D a few weeks before my trip to Hawaii. Hawaii is so full of photographic opportunities. I could spend a lifetime there just taking photos.

As a new member, I HAVE to ask, does anyone moderate these boards?? I've seen spam by a pornographer and now some idiot is posting swear words over and over....

This is a large site and I suspect, difficult to keep up with. Slug is good about TCB if someone lets him know.
