hey sorry if this is in the wrong section, but ive been looking at a news lense for my camera (Minolta Maxxum 70) and would like to know which brands are regarded as high end, mid range, and low end. and i have really poor eyesight so autofocus is a plus.

Sony now has all of minolta's lenses (minolta A mount is the new Sony Alpha Mount). So Sony Lens may work on your Minolta.
