That's a very neat result. Though I think it did more for water than for bushes, the over-all result is quite promising.
I think I'll try it myself.

It has the potential to make some duds (and some good photos) into something very interesting.

This one was just another picture of my cat until I crunched it through the plug-in.

Great cat photo sdowen !

I'm still experimenting with the filter and I've posted some new entries to my http://www.pbase.com/careysb/fractalius gallery.

I just downloaded the filter. Can anyone point me to a tutorial/help screen? The "?" button on the filter itself only points me to a product info page.

Help/Tutorial

Post Sun Feb 10, 2008 3:12 pm

Hmmm, looks like you are correct that there's really no tutorial supplied. I click on the die icon at the bottom until I get an effect close to one I'm looking for and then I fine tune by adjusting the individual sliders.

One thing that wasn't obvious to me at first is that you can click on the two star-burst icons to toggle them between white-on-black or black-on-white.

If you live in the US download from the "Plimus" column.

Where to get... (P.S.)

Actually, when you click on Purchase Full Version, they will send you email with the URL for doing the actual download. It took them 15-20 minutes to send the email to me.

That sounds like about the same timing for me.

Here's one I like:

I bought a copy of Fractalius.

here are some of my experiments so far:

I think it is a nice plugin but its definitely prone to abuse / overuse

There are some more in my gallery:
